Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] alicated! I hope your day and the coming year will be wonderful. ♥ (And what better opportunity to use my newest icon, featuring TLW's fabulous Alice.)

So, tonight I: watched Hot Fuzz (OMG LOVE! Everyone who pimped it to me was so right) and finally got around to listening to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. I've been reading bandom fic for a few weeks now, and for some reason I instantly developed a fondness for Panic at the Disco (Ryan Ross, guh) to the point that I don't want to read fic about other bands (though the thing about bandom is that the fics are pretty much *never* about just one band, and I don't mind, but I want PatD, especially Ryan/Brendon, to be the main focus). SO. ANYWAY. Now that I've listened to the songs, other than I Write Sins Not Tragedies which I couldn't have escaped even if I'd wanted to, I am in love with the music as well. (And this reading fic before knowing the source material thing? Very typical for me.) Lying is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off is the SONG OF MY SOUL, oh my god. I mean, this is the song that would have owned me completely if I'd heard it when I was in high school, which is not to say that it doesn't have a profound effect on me right now. And it is seriously disturbing that all these guys are such BABIES. Not that I really care, as everyone I've fangirled recently (see Johnny's Entertainment, kthx) is as well.

Ahem. So. I guess I'm a bandom convert now, or something? Because the thing I obviously need is new fandoms, dear god.

ps. This week's SPN and Lost? So much goodness. And Kame remains the most adorable thing evereverever in 1 Pound no Fukuin.
